3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons oil
1 egg
1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar + 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 + 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
In medium mixing bowl, pour milk over oats and let stand 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Heat oil in a frying pan; add batter. Cook pancakes until bubbles break and edges are cooked. Turn and cook on other side. Make 8 pancakes.
