1 box gingerbread cake mix
4 apples
zest from 1 lime
2 boxes, 3 oz each instant Banana Pudding
2 TBSP chopped white chocote
2 cups milk
16 oz container frozen whipped topping
HEAT OVEN TO 35O°F DEGREES.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Stir in 1 chopped apple and 1 tbs. lime zest. Pour batter into 9 inch pan coated with cooking spray. Bake 35 min. or until done. Cool. Remove cake from pan.
Halve horizontally. Place bottom half of cake back in pan. Slice 1apple, line sides of pan with apple slices. Halve remaining apples. Microwave apples 4 min. Cool. Place apple halves on cake. In bowl, combine pudding mix, white chocolate and milk. Fold whipped topping into pudding mixture, pour into pan over apples. Top filling with remaining cake layer. Cover with plastic wrap, chill 2 hours. Garnish cake with additional whipped topping and apple slices.
MAKES 10 SERVINGS.
