TRIED AND TRUE!!! Recipe from a member of my family.

1 large can of cream of mushroom soup
sliced mushrooms (canned is okay)
2 tbsp butter
garlic to taste
1/2 tsp beef bouillon mixed in 1 cup water
1 tsp kitchen bouquet or gravy master
1/2 cup chopped bacon or Hormel bacon bits (Hormel has REAL bacon bits, not processed)
Sauté mushrooms and garlic in butter. Use medium size pot. Then add the cream of mushroom soup, and the beef bouillon water. Stir to break up the cream soup. Add the kitchen bouquet (or gravy master. either will work). Simmer for a couple minutes. Just before serving, add the bacon bits. This makes a dark, beefy version of mushroom soup. You’ll find it’s VERY filling.
